Pediatric dentists are the pediatricians of the dental field. As pediatric dentists we devote our career to the care of children, adolescents, and people with special needs. Pediatric dentists have an additional 2-3 years of training in order to specialize in the care of children. We understand that children can be frightened of the dental environment and treatment.
